Faare

In a 1964 apartment building, a north-facing one-room unit runs along a long bay, featuring a corridor-style balcony and some built-in furniture. The project centers on the interface between the living room and bedroom: thickening their relationship while allowing for complete separation between day and night spaces. The space constantly rearranges itself through a functional yet playful system of sliding elements. Several original features are preserved: patterned ceramic tiles, a CUBEX cabinet, and a checkerboard parquet floor.
