Faare

An eclectic and bourgeois house from the early 20th century, offering generous spaces, undergoes extensive renovation in two phases. The challenge, common to many Brussels buildings of this era: how to simultaneously use the housing surface more efficiently while preserving the historical value of the interior heritage, and provide a variety of housing units at the scale of the building. The project proposes a different typology for each of the created dwellings: a loft on the top floor, a three-room enfilade apartment on the second floor, and a triplex (in phase II) on the upper floors.
